Luke 24:13-17
And
behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named
Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. And they were
talking with each other about all these things which had taken
place. While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself
approached and began traveling with them. But their eyes were
prevented from recognizing Him. And He said to the them, “What
are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are
walking?”
What
put those men to the road to Emmaus? Whether you’ve known the
story since childhood, or never heard it before, we’ll show
you the events of Christ’s last days.
We would like to
share with you the true story of Easter. This 90-minute outdoor
drama is taken directly from the scriptures and interpreted to
glorify God.
You’ll see the joy in the faces of those
who waited on the streets of Jerusalem just to get a glimpse of the
prophet. You will feel the pain of Peter when he leaves the side of
Jesus Christ, just as foretold. And we will share the joy of
Christ’s resurrection and his challenge to his people.
